Weight in pregnancy

How do I keep off all the excessive and unnecessary weight that makes the dr check the "obesity" box when I go in for check ups?

During my first pregnancy I let things go as they should and didn't worry about a thing outside of growing my baby and getting a place to live so in all that my inlaws were feeding me and i had a little extra cash that used to feed me and baby lol you know how cravings are .... moral is at my baby shower just 2 months away from birth I looked like a blimp...and that being nice about it ... I gained 110 pounds and after pregnancy shed 130 which was no easy feat

Now I am preg with #2 and have so far kept off most unwanted weight but I also suffer from GENETICS 😭😭😭 so sad and so true. My mother had 4 kids and never tried to shed weight or keep weight off at any point in her life so its kinda all I see in my future if I don't do something now... so just looking for any other tips and tricks ladies

I've been considered obese for each pregnancy but I don't let it phase me. I'm healthy overall and for me that's all that really matters. It took me a long time to gain that mindset though as I've struggled with my weight all my life. I don't really have any advice in terms of losing the weight. I did go back down to pre pregnancy weight both times but I literally didn't change anything about my diet or activities. It just happened. For reference I was 200 pounds starting for my last 2 pregnancies and gained 31 pounds. This time around I started at 218 and am currently at 235. My weight has been significantly less this time around but I haven't been active in monitoring it

I followed her advice. I did gain 44lbs (3rd pregnancy, 34yrs. 20lbs and 35lbs gained 1 and 2 babies) but I didn’t have the pregnant waddle and I lost it all 6m pp by also continuing her advice

I did a lot of walking and a ton of of throwing up. My little girl made me soooo sick. I also have a disease called cyclical vomiting syndrome so that played a big part in it, but all in all I only ended up gaining 14 lbs during pregnancy. I mean I’ve been fat for quite a long time now so I’m sure that box was still checked but not cause of baby weight unfortunately
