I'm feeling so heartbroken for my daughter

My husband left and filed for divorce. He hasn't reached out at all to my daughter. He's been in her life since she was 2, and she's 9 now. So this is her dad. I asked if he wanted to visit with her when he came to pick up his dog, who was over visiting. Well, tonight I went to tuck her in and saw she had hung a photo she took while he was over on her TV. My heart is so broken for her. Idk if i should continue reaching out seeing if he wants to spend time with her or let him be.

As sad as the situation is . Leave him be . He is a grown ass man and he knew exactly what he was leaving behind . In his defence all he can possible say to you is that he’s not her biological father and he isn’t obliged to see your child .

But again he’s been in her life sense she was 2. She is now 9! He is being selfish and forgetting that your child had nothing to do with why you and him divorced . He should’ve kept in contact either way with her 😢.
