Traveling with 5 month old

Traveling in the states for the holidays for those who have already done a plane trip did you take your stroller and car seat? Was it difficult? What kind did you use? Probably flying Alaska idk seems simple enough but I feel overwhelmed by it for some reason haha

We didn’t take our stroller or car seat but that’s because my husband‘s parents were waiting with a stroller and car seat for us on the other end of the flight. I have seen a lot of people take strollers and car seats as checked luggage. We flew with my baby when he was about 2 1/2 months old, and I just breast-fed him right after takeoff to assist with ear popping and he slept for the rest of the flight

Have done it a few times and our girl is only 3 months! We did bring her stroller and car seat. It wasn’t difficult at all! It’s free on all airlines and you just bring it right to the gate, and when you get off the plane it’ll be there waiting for you.
