Induction.. drained
Hi girls
I’m 12 days overdue, 4 sweeps later and was booked in for induction yesterday. I went in, under the impression things would get going but apparently there is a 2/3 day wait for delivery suite to break my waters, so I was given the gel as I wasn’t quite 2cm. Gel worked and was having labouring contractions from around 2pm up until 1am ish where they became bareable and I could sleep. After examining me I’m ready for my waters to be broken so labour can start
My pains have disappeared today, I’m stuck in hospital just waiting and I feel sooo deflated. After already waiting so long for my baby, I’m still waiting!
This is my second baby
No real reason for this post apart from, I was given false expectations of coming in for induction, I thought things would be started quick but a lot of the day is spent waiting around for midwife’s to come and check you. So day 2 of being here let’s hope he can come out today 🤞🏻

I’ve just got to day 3 of induction and now off for a c-section but also still need to wait for a slot, but now with no food when heartburn is my worst part! Hoping for an early slot! 🤞 x
I'm on day 6 of induction 🫣 last day has just been waiting to get waters broken so have been resting, feel like I live at the hospital now! Hope you all give birth soon, sending love!
I was in 10 days induced over 2 days which didn’t for work me and had my waters popped that still didn’t work! Think baby didn’t want to come out! but I ended up having an emergency c section as I became unwell! 😬 I’m hoping this baby decides not to make such a dramatic entrance! Fingers crossed for you! Keep your chin up, it’s hard when you just want baby here and to go home xxx
