I’m a soon to be first time mum and am so interested in what aspects of motherhood bring you all joy and the aspects that bring you dread.
My sister says the cuddles are the best part and the sleep deprivation is the worst part.
I’d love to know your thoughts!

Not really motherhood yet as baby is still cooking I love feeling her kick but hate when people come up to me and touch my bump 🙈❤️xxx

Love to see my little one turning into his own person, developing his individuality and how you get this little human who literally wakes up every morning looking forward to spending the day with you and you have someone's childhood to turn into a magical experience.
What gets me down is when you start to see the world through different lenses and the realisation that we can't fix all the problems, undo all wrong doings, turn all bad people into good ones... And the fact your little one will get hurt and there is nothing you can do to prevent it.

Things I love:
The cuddles, baby cuddles are lovely but toddler hugs are the best.
Her excitement to see a dog.
I find myself humming her kids songs in work.
Seeing how much she learns every day.
Things I hate:
Not a fan of the kicking.
The laundry is shocking.
Nappy training 😱

The cuddles! Contact naps and the way he smiles at me in the morning! He's 10 weeks old and I've loved every minute of it x

Things I love:
My baby staring into my eyes when I’m breastfeeding her.
Her smile - even in the dead of night in the pitch black! Kinda scary sometimes but so wonderful. Makes me proud to see her happy.
Seeing how much she loves nature. She could be in a crap mood and then fixed by staring at the leaves blowing in the wind.
Things I don’t like:
The amount of information online and others opinions. On one side it’s great we have so much advice to hand, but I find it overwhelming and it takes my mind off just concentrating on my baby and how she is.
The sleep deprivation is SO hard sometimes but it does get easier and you get stronger!
The consumerism side of being a parent. All you have to do is go on one social media channel and you get flooded all the time and easily sucked in to buy stuff you really don’t need!

I absolutely hate tea times 😂xx
