Broken glass jar
I bought a glass jar of coconut oil, and when I got home I realized it was broken. Would it be unsafe to use? I feel bad throwing it out! It’s actually really hard to see it’s above the label.

If you really don't want to chuck it you could melt it down and strain it through. I would just chuck it though
That doesn't look like a new jar. It's more empty than full. Chuck it and replace.
I opened it and started transferring it to another jar for different uses and then I realized half way when I had removed some that the jar was broken
Do you know how long it’s been broken?
no I don’t, the jar must have been broken when I bought it. Just never realized it until I got home, since I didn’t drop the bag it came in or had anything heavy that would have cracked it on the 2 minute drive back home.
