Do it now- it took me 4 years of ivf to get pregnant. You don’t the luxury of waiting. I gave birth at 46 to my first miracle baby girl in March. I’m so exhausted and in perimenopause but so in love 🥰

sorry mammas, let me clarify, i have done already the hard work and have embryos in the freezer 🤞🏻
how are you experience being mama at 46, i know its hard but anything else i should be mindful of? 🙏🏻🫶🏻

I'm getting ready at 47 for my 2nd one. My 1st is 16 months. I had to wait due to csection. It makes a difference for me. I feel a lot stronger. If I had time, I would wait 6 more months. I just decided to take good vitamins, eat well, better sleep, and done breastfeeding. That all helps.

hi, I had embryos too, I miscarried one & 3 never implanted after transfer. It took my fifth transfer to finally get & stay pregnant- so it can take time. I’m very tired, my back is hurting and my legs- it’s taken a toll- & idk if its the pregnancy or hormones or the fact that I’m perimenopause- but it’s taking a lot longer for me to recover- don’t have anything to compare it to tho- since this is my first pregnancy. My actual pregnancy was not too bad- I had some bleeding first tri, I got carpal tunnel- but my back was good, blood pressure was good, very successful pregnancy

I’m thinking of going fit ivf (I’m 44) but doctors think they well only get 2-3 eggs. What do you guys think? I’m in the uk and we don’t have insurance to help with costs xx

what have you decided?
It is risky but not impossible. I have been collected 1/2 eggs at the time but i did many rounds. And it worked. It’s difficult to give advice as it is very individual. There is also an option to have an egg donated. Which offers higher percentage for older mamas. Many women choose it to limit the costs. IVF is a numbers game unfortunately 😞
