My girl won't wear shoes😩

Is anyone here having difficulty with shoes? My daughter throws a crying fit if we even bring shoes anywhere near her. And now she wants to walk everywhere...we usually just let her walk around in public in her socks...but with cold and wet weather approaching, I'm tire of rubbing her socks clean!

What sort of shoes does she have? Maybe they don’t fit her feet properly and are hurting her?

@Maggie they fit...in fact she won't even let me put them on..she'll start crying as soon as I take them out of her closet..

then my only guess would be that they are hurting her feet. Which brand are they?

Try slip ons or stonz. They are quite comfortable as first shoes. Also try velcro ones, Nike has quite good ones and is way more reasonable than other brands. I recently went shopping for my daughter so message me if you have any more questions.

stonz are great! I find Nikes are too narrow for a lot of kids feet. See Kai run are good and new balance have some wide foot ones

You're right we struggled to find wide foot shoes as well for my daughter. Luckily Nike with velcro fitted her well. Nike Air was good too. Very easy to put on

You definitely want a wide toe box shoe with a flexible sole, my son looooves his Stonz! I see them all over Marketplace. You could also try some sock shoes? They're more like socks but have a rubber sole. There's also a woman on the east coast that makes great, soft sole baby shoes (and big kid and adult). The booties actually stay on and are super comfy, the water shoes are super comfy and light too (they're just regular shoes that dry quick). The water shoes are also on sale right now for 30% off so they're like $24 I think? Or somewhere around there. Tons of flexibility, like walking in bare feet but with a bit of protection
