My son ate a Prenatal Vitamin 😩

If you call your pediatrician they should have someone after hours answer and advise you on what to do.

He will be fine its just vitamins that he was getting while he was in the womb anyways i think he will be ok‼️🫶🏼

Yeah I think he’ll be fine. But now that he’s putting things in his mouth maybe give him some of his own vitamins and start him out. Idk how old he is. But if you could start doing some now I think that could be great.

If he ate the whole thing tho you should try to get him to throw it up somehow just because of how much iron is in it but if he just bit it he will he fine my friends son ate 2 when he was 1 and was fine the only thing they were worried about was the amount of iron he got from it and told her to make him throw up before it got into his system but girl don’t worry he will be ok🫶🏼

He should be fine. It’s just vitamins. He won’t eat it again that’s for sure. Sometimes they need to f around and find out and thankfully it’s not something dangerous

If you think he swallowed a good amount of it I’d call poison control if I was in your situation. Only because if it has iron in it that could be dangerous in large doses for a small child. But it sounds like he didn’t actually get any of it inside his body so maybe just call the doctor and see what they say. Don’t beat yourself up though. Things happen in a blink of an eye with these toddlers.

If he swallowed just one odds are he's okay but for future reference, poison control has an online website where the only information you enter is baby's age/weight and the medication/dose he ate and will tell you what to watch for or if you should go to ER/Call doctor. You don't have to talk to anyone or enter any other personal information
