Missed miscarriage
Found out I was pregnant on the 3rd of September.
I know I ovulated on the 21st of August which would make me around 8weeks + 2 days pregnant
Went for a private early scan 2 days ago at which point I would have been 8weeks pregnant, they said I was measuring 5 weeks or under could only see gestational sac and yoke.
Obviously these dates do not add us so I assume I am having a missed miscarriage as havnt had any bleeding and still feel all the pregnancy symptoms.
I had a gp appointment today as havnt been able to get through to midwife.
I felt as if what I was explaining wasn’t being listened to, the doctor said everything seems fine and congratulations as I tried to explain my concerns.
I just wanted to know what my options are as I feel lost on what to do.

I'm really sorry to hear what you've been going through. I've had a missed miscarriage and had a sac and yolk that continued to grow. The hospital wouldn't do anything about it until they'd done a few scans a couple of weeks apart. I would ask the Dr if they can get you into the early pregnancy unit so they can start scanning you. From my experience they won't use private scans to base their findings on. Good luck with everything xx
