Sertraline

Hi, I'm new here. My question is, I take Sertraline 100 mg for anxiety/depression and I have done for many years. I just wondered if anyone else is similar and knows about taking this during ttc and pregnancy?
I'm waiting for a gp appointment to discuss but have to wait 2 weeks 😩

Hi there, I take this and contacted my gp when I found out I was pregnant and was advised it was fine to continue taking. ☺️

They will likely lower your dosage during pregnancy as 100mg is a lot

Sertraline is the safest anti-depressant for pregnancy, I took it throughout mine and still am whilst breastfeeding. It shouldn’t be a problem.

I take it and I'm TTC I had to switch because I used to take Effexor. I'm taking 50 mg daily. It's the safest to use when pregnant so my gyno switched me to it since I am TTC

Thank you everyone, that's reassuring. I'll speak to my GP and plan to reduce to the lowest dose/50mg 🤞😊

The first time I was pregnant i was on 100mg and the doctor said they had no plans to change that. Unless I wanted to. They said it was the safer option as they wouldn’t have wanted a relapse. Especially as I had failed to come off them previously, which ended up in a relapse and an increase

Conceiving after birth (post infertility)

Hi, I’m just looking for some advice, I’m only 20 weeks pregnant atm with my first but we’ve had so many issues conceiving in the first place, it’s taken 6 constant years of trying with not even one positive test until this baby! (No losses thank god)

After a few years of trying with no success we did find out I have an under active thyroid and PCOS and got diagnosed as infertile but now I can’t be happier!

Everything said I know I haven’t gone through the birth yet and I do want to give my body the time to heal but honestly we’ve always wanted a big family and there’s so much anxiety about being able to conceive again.

I know after you give birth you’re most fertile which is great but I just don’t know how long that lasts. I obviously don’t want to get pregnant 6 weeks after I’ve given birth but if that’s the only choice so it doesn’t take 6 years again I would do it :/

Is this a faint line?

I took a test and within 1 minute it showed this. As I wasn’t sure I ended up taking another test 30 minutes later and it was negative. What do you guys think?

How do you feel about this, and could you please explain?

Do you view having children as a positive or negative aspect of your life? Asset or liability?

Evaporation Line?

Hey guys - is this an Evap line or a positive?
This is my first pregnancy so I’m unsure what to expect from a test - all previous cycles have been a stark nothing - I thought I saw a line straight away but this is now after 15mins
10DPO (confirmed with Oura Ring and LH strips)
Thanks x

Heartbroken 9dpo negative!

I’m so heartbroken! Tested at 9dpo and it was clearly negative after trying for 6 months after a loss. Anyone else test negative at 9dpo and ended up pregnant 😭 I’m feeling defeated!
