Second Guessing

We just found out we’re pregnant with #2. We are hoping for a boy but totally happy to being girl parents again. Ever since I was young I said i’d have a boy named Cullen (irish/gaelic for handsome). I’ve always had heads turn when i say that of course asking if it’s from twilight 🙄 Then a girl I’ve wanted Maeve, which now I get asked Hotel Transylvania.

I want your opinions overall!! Would you keep the names you’ve always wanted or start considering something else? While we’re here, middle names for Maeve?

I like your choices and think that despite any popularity or links now, they're still very unique, and if you like them, go for it. I see both those connections too but don't see why it should be a problem 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️ there's also plenty of other things I think of but all equally cool 😎 what about Grace as a middle name? We are thinking of using it fof our 2nd and it goes nicely with different names 😊 xx

Girl, I know someone who named their kid Renesmee. If she can do that, Cullen should be fine.

There's only so many people will think that. And even less really care. They either like twilight/hotel Transylvania or don't. Most people who don't won't even comment. So once you vague like those shows too you can smile and nod.

I think Maeve has a life outside of hotel Transylvania but (at least where I live) most people will only have the twilight association for Cullen, so it will be hard to get away from. You might also like Muriel, Caleb, Cade, Cael, Corbin,

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Fed up

Anyone else just feeling fed up in general? I just never feel happy anymore. Wake up dreading what the day ahead of us will be like.

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?

32 weeks

32 week growth scan and clinic appointment. Did anything unusual happen? Ive heard a few people saying 32 weeks was when they had a induction date

Groin pain?

So I’m 34 weeks with my second and for a couple days now I’ve had terrible groin pain so bad that sometimes I can’t even walk or shift a certain way or I feel like the baby is just gonna rip out of my groin… I definitely was uncomfortable towards the end with my last pregnancy but this is just absolutely awful. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or anything that helps?? It’s making it so hard to still care for a toddler when I can barely move without pain..
