Groin pain?

So I’m 34 weeks with my second and for a couple days now I’ve had terrible groin pain so bad that sometimes I can’t even walk or shift a certain way or I feel like the baby is just gonna rip out of my groin… I definitely was uncomfortable towards the end with my last pregnancy but this is just absolutely awful. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or anything that helps?? It’s making it so hard to still care for a toddler when I can barely move without pain..

Yes I’m 36 weeks and have had it since about 33 weeks. It’s terrible. Honestly the only thing that helps is wearing my belly band when I’m walking, taking a warm bath in epsom salts and resting!

I have this too. I try to keep moving and walking about 2 miles a day and it kind of warms up and goes away as long as I'm moving. The biggest help for me is keeping my knees together. I was spreading my knees when bending over or doing things and that made it worse, it pulls all those ligaments apart. So try to keep everything together, stretching also helps, I've been doing the spinning babies stretches and that helps but go easy!

Is it safe to have sex after losing mucus plug?

We were planning on having sex tonight to try and get labour moving, but I've just lost quite a large amount of my mucus plug and maybe had a bloody show although I'm not entirely sure, it wasn't much blood.

Is it generally safe to have unprotected sex or is there a risk of infection?

Doula

Hello! I hired a doula at 5 weeks and I’m currently 31 weeks. I have not really connected with her and I have connected much more with my OBGYN.

I also recently found out she’s a Trump supporter which makes me concerned about her beliefs about women’s right to choose. This seems to be in direct conflict with what I believed Doula’s did (empowered women to be in control of their labors).

Has anyone had concerns about their doula in their third trimester and decided to go without. I have a super supportive husband who is a doctor at the hospital I’m delivering at. I also am hoping that my sister who lives abroad can make the delivery. I feel like with the two of them, I won’t need to doula. I just feel like after all this time with her, it’s strange we are still not comfortable with each other.

I’d love to hear folks thoughts. This is not an invitation to argue about politics. If you are a Trump supporter just keep it moving.

Pregnancy triage advice

I’m 31 weeks pregnant with DCDA twins and earlier I picked my 2.5 year old up and threw her in the air as part of a maternity shoot. I’ve had sore stomach muscles since (understandable) but now I have period pains on and off every 15 mins or so.

I’m not one of that likes to bother anyone and also I don’t have a way of getting to the hospital atm…

Would anyone else be concerned at this point?
