Working Food Service

Just wondering if any of you worked food service while pregnant? I do and it is so so hard with the nausea and vomiting and fatigue. Not sure what to do about it!

Hey girlie! I'm a server, and the best way I've been able to kick nausea is ice water infused with mint and lime. Worked wonders for me!

Ice water, crackers, and ginger drops hope this helps 🥰 if you are anywhere near a Starbucks their water is the most hydrating water I have ever tasted while pregnant (that’s where I worked)

Ice water and ginger beer worked a treat! (For reference I hated ginger beer! 😂) also eating strawberries and sugar helped me (that’s just a personal one but couldn’t hurt to try!) xx

I bartended until I was 36wks. The preggo pop ginger candies saved me! Ginger ale gave me heartburn. Ice water and ritz crackers, a little bit at a time. Few sips and 1-2 crackers whenever I could. Large meals/ drinks made me sick too.

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

Anxious/depressed

My first pregnancy symptom was my anxiety out of nowhere. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves and just so scared of everything. Is anyone else feeling similar? How are you managing? Are we contributing it to hormones?
