I went for my 12 week dating scan but they said that I am measuring 11+1. I could see my baby very active also they have shown me the brain and limbs developing all perfectly. Also I could hear baby’s heartbeat. But due to baby not cooperating with the position they were unable to get the measurement.
They tired a lot asked me to change my position in bed and to walk but then also baby’s position didn’t change and thus they were unable to get the measurement.
They said as it’s not 12 weeks yet so it’s too early to have NT measurements. And they have booked for another scan after a week. Now is it something to worry about? As anyone been through same and do you know will the baby’s position change in one week? Or should I do some exercises or walks to change the baby’s position make the baby position horizontally!!! Thou I could see my baby also hear the heartbeat but still I am a bit worried about the measurement.

Nothing to worry about. It happened woth my first pregnancy

literally nothing to worry about at all. like you said, everything is perfect and you’ve heard heart beat so why would you worry? i just had a rescan yesterday, after my 12 week appointment last tuesday went the same as yours (couldn’t get all measurements, baby was in weird position etc), so i went back and it was better, baby had moved and changed position, even managed to get some photos so don’t stress.

I've had the same problem I'm now 15 weeks but not been able to get proper measurements because of babies position it's not much to worry about it's just the baby wanting to be in a position that isn't helpful for the scanner x

When I had mine I was dated exactly 12 weeks and mine was in a weird position but the midwife managed to make him/ her move and she asked me to breath deeply. It worked straight away but she explained that if he wasn't cooperative I needed to go back a week or so later but that is standard procedures and it's also written in the letter they send home for the scan. Try not to worry, especially because all the rest was fine. Cuddle your little bump and speak with him, sometimes helps

Nothing to worry about. I was measuring 11 weeks, then went back a week late and it had grown

Nothing to worry about, when I went they said if the baby isn’t at least 11+2 then I would need to go back, I was exactly 11+2 but baby had measured small at 9 week scan so was panicking.
We actually measured at 11+4 that day which was a relief but also completely impossible 😅
At least you get to see them again so soon ❤️
