Following as have been wondering how much to spend on my 3 year old.
On the one hand, we’ve got our second baby on the way and trying to save some money before I go on maternity leave. But on the other hand, even the little things are soooo expensive these days that I feel like we’ll still end up spending quite a bit!

I say every year that we are gonna cut down but because as you say everything is soo expensive we end up still spending a fortune!
I did have an idea this Yr tho, because my eldest is coming up 19 and seriously needs to learn the value of money I had an idea to put some money in his bank account and say you buy what you want and when it's gone it's gone, he has a small job that he earns just a bit with and has started to understand that things cost money but we then always end up spoiling him and I think we may be doing him more harm than good, so I thought if we allocated him a certain amount of money he can then get an idea of just how expensive Christmas can be

Around £150 - £200 that can be lots of different presents or one main one if they want something more expensive. This includes, from parents and Santa / stocking. But we only have 1 child and save throughout the year towards birthdays and Christmas presents (but to point out we don’t really buy for our families other then tiny gifts for parents/ siblings as we all know how expensive life gets!)

My daughter is 4 just after Christmas (Jan) so we spend around £100-£200 on her for Christmas.

It tends to be on the lower side and I buy a lot second hand or on vinted new but cheaper. So I’ve spent £100 so far and I’ve nearly finished her Christmas shopping.

Depends what we see and like to get her. One time we got her a amazon tablet and cloths so well over 200 but other times about 100. It really depends. But I do roughly 150

Will probably end up spending around £75 this year including a book advent calendar. She’s nearly 18 months.
Spent barely £30 for her first Xmas last year. Lots of second hand bits as well.

Your comments have made me realise that we have in fact been spending waaayyyy too much on our kids! Time to cut back!

I dont really do a count up but probably 100-150 each, but I buy things throughout the year so I never feel the Christmas pinch as it were. It completely depends on what it is aswell. Last year I bought them a joint gift which cost £80, a hotwheels garage. But they play with it daily
