Whenever i use benefit calculators I get different results so hoping someone can help? I am going to be on the standard stat mat pay (£730ish a month) from Mid jan and my partner earns £28K per year. His monthly pay after tax etc is about £1800. Will we qualify for any Universal Credit or do we earn too much?

I do not qualify for UC on my own with maternity allowance 700ish so I don’t think so

I work in the NHS as band 4 and I would have been eligible once I received SMP only (after 5ish months)… however as I live with my partner (same job & band as me) who has savings I am not eligible… as they consider your partners savings as your earnings too 😮💨
But a colleague was able to apply and was granted UC and her partner works so I think it’s best to just apply and see or call up and ask advice :)

We have the same situation as yourself, my partner gets £1800& £1900 some months and we still get about £300 if I get £730 if I get £920 (depends on how many weeks a month has) we get around £200 x
