Lump on neck

Anyone experience this? My son has a bouncy ball sized lump in his neck, it’s also hard like a bouncy ball. He has an appointment with his pediatrician today but kinda freaking out right now 🙁

it’s a sternocleidomastoid tumor :( he’s got an ultrasound tomorrow and then another appointment with his dr this week to come up with a treatment plan
