Christmas Tree

Sorry to mention the c word in October if this offends anyone! I’m wondering what people are planning with regards to putting up their Christmas tree this year? My LB is such a whirlwind I fear for the safety of having baubles at his height and think there’s going to be a lot of breakages!! I have a small one I can put on our dining table but the thought of not having a proper tree upsets me a little!

I went out and bought decs that are shatterproof and plastic, so they will bounce more than anything

Mine left the tree alone last year so I’m hoping he’ll do the same again, but we have plastic decorations lower down the tree so if he does grab one it’s not going to break. Also have a dinosaur tree for him this year as he’s obsessed so I’m hoping he’ll be too occupied with that one 😂 x

I’ve found that she usually leaves things alone if we involve her in the initial process! We’re going to get her to help set the tree up & mostly just tell her not to touch it 😂 hopefully all goes well for you and you’re able to have your tree

We got a small fake tree last year and will manage to set it up out of her reach this year like last year maybe not next

I really want a proper tree too. I cant remember last year but i think the year before a lot of our baubles broke in their box. We've got lots of felt ornaments now which she'll probably want to play with but at least they're not breakable and none of them have beads or sequins so they're totally safe.
