How many oz formula are your 9/10 week olds on?

Give him if he is hungry. Your baby will tell you when to stop

If I did that I reckon he would drink like 9oz and throw it up lol as he has bad reflux as it is xx

Also if you were breastfeeding you wouldn’t know exactly how much you are giving. Trust me your baby won’t just over feed. There is no obese baby ;)

Ahhh ty for this! That’s ever true! It’s just before when he was younger and I upped him from 3oz to 4oz as he seemed so hungry the HV was like oh no don’t give him that much his belly is only small, you will over feed him and make him sick , so that’s what’s stuck in my head xx

Our 10+4 week old drinks 5oz every 4ish hours sometimes can go longer sometimes he wants it sooner. A lot of people say you can’t overfeed a baby but we actually did and he ended up quite uncomfortable! X

Do the paced bottle feeding method, that way you don't overfeed and he will stop when he is full - if he wants more, give him more using this technique. The HCV probably said that cuz you can overfeed a bottle fed baby but not a breastfeed baby.

My 10 week old drinks between 4-5 oz averagely sometimes 3oz. My first at this age however was easily drinking 6oz bottles

My 10 week old LG is having 5 oz every 3 hours during the day has a final feed at 8pm and she goes til half 6 in the morning for next bottle and she's been like that for few weeks. We have started putting few 6oz ones in the mix and she's gaining weight at good rate and on 50th centile.

Ahhh. See my LO goes 4/4.5 hours, don’t take a bottle in the night so on about 5 feeds, on 46th centile so near the same

Thanks! Yeah my LO is long too! He usually does 5 feeds as he don’t have one in the night and usually goes 4-4.5 hours before he cries for a feed x

He has just started test 2 and wondering if this is why he is gulping is down and still feeling hungry so will get this. Ty xx
