Can I take my 2 year old to the cinema to watch a rated PG film?

Under 3s are a handful in the cinema. My daughter is calm and sit through films but in the cinema I felt like all I was doing was asking her to sit down and watch.
You can take them I've seen baby babies in the cinema. They do early times for kids normally. Plus at a certain age they free if they sit on your lap x

The Everyman cinemas do a baby club on a Tuesday and Thursday morning I think it is (near me anyway!) and they adapt the screening to be baby/child friendly by dimming the lights and lowering the sound, mum gets a hot drink and cake too. Hope that helps if you can find one near you ☺️

As mentioned above, some cinemas also do toddler screenings, which i imagine are similar to the baby screenings, but they only show select movies and the one you want to see may not be one of those. With regards to the rating of the film, PG stands for parental guidance, so I would assume that it would be up to you as the parent to decide if they can watch the film or not.

I’d probably wait until it’s a little quieter. Mine always found the seats difficult as her weight doesn’t keep it upright so she found it more comfortable on my lap despite having a booster seat. Also my son found bits of Moana scary.

my 2 year old is obsessed with Moana and I never thought about taking him cinema before but because number 2 is coming out he really wants to watch it bless him. He keep watching the trailer on Disney plus on repeat. I keep thinking should I just wait till it’s out on tv or take him x

I am thinking should I wait till the hype of Moana 2 has died down and go to the last viewings of it so it’s less busy in the cinema and that way I can test to see if he is okay in that environment? Idk it’s a hard one because he’s absolutely obsessed with Moana and keeps watching the trailer to number 2 telling me he wants to watch it. I maybe might test about the toddler screening first see how he is x
