I'm looking to setup a savings account with a bank/building society for my little one. For those that have already done this, who did you go with? I feel there's so many, I don't know where to start! Would like the best interest possible 👌

We use Halifax for both children x

Do you know what the interest rate is with Halifax? I think I would like a tax free account too but not sure x

I have a Barclays children’s saver with a few hundred in but I put all of his child benefit into premium bonds for him, he’s won twice so the return is much better than interest rates.

We’re doing premium bonds too as if you win once in a year you’ll have made more than a savings account with such low interest rates. It’s also good for people who want to give cash gifts

We have premium bonds account for him and my parents set up a savings account for him with virgin x

Coventry building society had good interest rates on children's ISAs recently. Best place to look is Martin Lewis - money saving expert website he lays its all out quite well x

Santander junior ISA for our LG

I opened up a kids savings account with Halifax as I bank with them. Think it's just changed it's rates. Could be 3.75 but I could be wrong.
Looking into bonds tonight. Xxx

I bank with natwest so just did it with them as it was easiest, I can access it all in one place too with my app which is great

What’s premium bonds and how do I open a account? X

if you Google NS&I premium bonds you’ll find all the info. It’s the governments national saving scheme.

Junior cash ISA with Halifax is what I went for after looking at lots xx

We’ve gone with premium
Bonds… our daughter won £100 last month - better than interest rates in my opinion x
