How is everyone doing with their LO wearing hats and Gloves ? My LO is in daycare and they take him outside for one hour twice a day, and yesterday I went to pick him up and he was crying from the cold, his little hands were completely cold and so red it was bad. Was not wearing a hat, daycare provider tells me that he just takes them off.. I'm not sure what to do. He wears his hat when we go out we constantly have to tell him to wear the hat but he does wear it but gloves he does not like. What can I do for him to like gloves.
I had an incident last week, where the daycare was taking him outside without his sweater and just jacket, so I'm just not sure if they are just not trying to make sure he wears his gloves or hat or if he really just takes it off
I'm just concerned about his health and making sure he doesn't get sick. He was hospitalized last year due to pneumonia and I don't want that again.

I would pull him from that daycare if they aren’t going to make sure he keeps his winter clothes on.. it’s freezing outside, if he won’t wear it they should be keeping him inside at the very least. That’s literally neglect in my eyes. I hate daycares

Can you try a toque with a Velcro strap under his chin? Or mitts with a dummy string that go through his jacket? I’ve also had luck with kombi infant mitts because they sinch at the wrist.
Try some different items to make it easier, but absolutely they need to be more careful in making sure he isn’t getting cold.

I have thought about taking him out of daycare and putting him in a different one but unfortunately daycare way lists are over 2 years at the moment, and I currently have to work

yea I kept telling them, but I'm not sure if they just aren't trying to keep his gloves and hat on or what is going on. We been trying our hardest with the hat and he keeps them on when his with me

Baby balaclava !!! Keeps neck and face warm too

And zip up gives - much harder for baby to take off
