Preparing

I’m due 1st March and omg I haven’t bought anything yet 😭😭😭 my husband is in the army so we get stationed very soon. My plan was to wait till we are stationed in our new home before buying things. What do u think. Or should I just start getting stuff now. I’m really into everything matching colours in a room ect so that’s why.

I’m a bit anxious too because they can also decide to move us in the next 2 months. Should I wait to give birth before moving or just push for them to move me earlier ?

Seems reasonable to ask for a move asap so you can be settled. Maybe buy the essentials so you’re covered and you can get all the extra cute/matchy stuff once you’ve moved and have your colour scheme etc ☺️

I would ask to move asap, before baby arrives if possible so you can be more relaxed, and then focus on just having the car seat/ pram, somewhere comfortable for baby to sleep, a few clothes and diapers, nothing more. Just essentials :)

I’ve literally just moved into a new house that isn’t quite renovated yet, and I am also due the first few days of March. I have only bought the car seat and pram so far, which will arrive by Feb., so you’re not behind and not alone! 🤗 xo

Unwell after sweep

I’ve had a sweep earlier today, lost the mucus plug about a couple hours later. Got period type cramping immediately, I hadn’t even left the midwife appointment yet. I have contractions and permanent back cramping, alongside waves of nausea - which is a combination I’m struggling with as I feel quite unwell. Nowhere near labour, as I’ve had 6 contractions in the span of 3 hours or so. A midwife told me sweeps cause really bad cramping, so I assumed it was normal. But just want to check if there’s anybody out there in a similar boat? Should I be calling the hospital to check if it’s all normal?

Has your life become a living nightmare since becoming a mom?

Sometimes I become conscious of the fact that I just have to wake up tomorrow morning and do this all over again. Every day. And then I wanna bash my head into a brick wall

39 Week Induction Being Pushed On

Went to my 36 week appointment today and my OB was pushing for a 39 week induction.

I want a natural spontaneous labor but my OB kept pushing for the induction even if I’m low risk and healthy. Is anyone else experiencing this?
