Designer baby clothes

I like to dress my baby in designer clothes, and I always have people comment on how I shouldn't waste my money and they will grow out of it. I personally think they make those comments because they are jealous. I have a good job and I've worked hard to save up for nice things for my baby and I'm entitled to spend my money on what I want. Am I wrong to feel upset by this? Why do people feel so bothered by what other people's babies are dressed in?

Who gives a crap. If you wanna do it then do it, my sons got Ralph Lauren and timberlands, if you don’t want to spend too much always try Vinted people sell loads of designer stuff at a decent price

People see thing differently I personally wouldn’t spend all that money on clothes even if I could afford it but I wouldn’t voice it to people who do. It’s nothing to do with anyone else what you dress your baby in

Not wrong… it’s your money, your baby, your prerogative. It’s that simple do what makes you and yours happy! ❤️

I have sat in a parents group and had people explain that it makes me look careless. Like I’m wasting money on stuff that isn’t valuable in the long run.

I personally buy more expensive brands for my kids for example Nike and Zara because it’s better quality and people say the same to me. I took my son to day care in an old Nike tracksuit and one of the workers said “ you shouldn’t bring him to nursery in nice clothes” but my thought process was that it’s thick and warm especially in this cold weather, idc if he ruins it. 😂

While I personally prefer to buy second hand and cheaper things, that’s your money and as long as your kid is clothed appropriately and cared for then who cares 🤷🏼‍♀️. I have friends who went the bamboo route and those clothes are super nice. It’s just not my budget to be able to do that. Do what you can afford and makes you happy

Buy what you want. Just size them up. That’s what I’m going to do lol my baby will be spoiled 🩵

You do you! As long as babies are clean, fed, warm and in a safe home then it doesn’t matter how much or where your buying clothing from 🙏🏻

I’ve gotten a lot of my designer baby clothes at a 2nd hand stores. While they are nice I think it’s ridiculous to spend that much money on clothes whether it’s for me or a baby. When I was doing super financially well I still refused to buy expensive clothes I clearance shopped them. I never understood buying super expensive baby things since they don’t last that long. I spent more money on convertible cribs and such. I prefer to save money if I can and only shop sales too. What’s better than spending 100 to save 200.

I find it pointless but also if it's not my kid it's not my business. I've had people call me a bad mom for thrifting clothes for him instead of buying new which with our budget is an inane comment, cuz he's clothed and clean and warm and happy, and he's also being fed. For me it'd be wasteful. But that's not everyone's situation and I'm not gonna judge someone. If you can afford to buy your kid something nice who do they think they are to talk about it? Like as long as kid is fed and clothed who cares what brand it is? Cheap or expensive, either way not anyone's business but yours

I found my person! We dress our baby very nice as well! We have the money and we love the fits we get him. I also love spending the money on bamboo pjs! From our Nuna products to his clothes and diapers. We enjoy getting the best that we can for our little man!
I know not everybody can afford it and that is ok. Do what you can for your family, that is what matters at the end of the day, not what others have that you don’t ❤️ (for all the I wouldn’t spend my money or for the mommas who think they are failing because they can’t afford top of the line products, your baby is still happy and love and that is what matters!)
