This may sound stupid but how do you ensure that the baby responds to her name?

Hear me out all day every day she hears her brothers name on and off. Even though I ensure to call her as well, I am just not sure if it's enough 😅 advice?

I don’t really know how but I’m sure they all eventually learn their name! 🤣🥰 my 13 month old sometimes looks at me when I say “Sophie”, other times she ignores me. I just make sure I use her name if I ask her a question or say hello to her etc… hopefully it’ll sink in eventually! Xx

make sure she hears you say her name when she knows your talking to her. instead of saying “you” say her name. and avoid using nicknames until she’s clear on what her name is

Every day I said to my son. Good morning Parker! And throughout the day Hello Parker! All day making sure to really emphasize all of the syllables. He is 16 months old now. However he's responded well to his name since about 8-9 months. And will come running if I call out to him from a different part of the house.

It just happens. My oldest was 16 months when the twins were born. The twins are 16 months now and somehow they definitely now know their own names. Just use them with eye contact and pointing as much as you can. But don't stress honestly what kid do you ever know who didn't know their own name x
