I ALWAYS struggle to get a hold of it, best you can do is get as many as you can while places have it, keep it stored away and get one every time you run out so when there's a shortage you don't suffer. Places struggle to order it in ALL the time near me, I have 3 local pharmacies who are amazing and would text me when they get a shipment. I moved my baby onto another formula due to struggles finding it but now he's having eczema flare ups and idk if it's cuz of the formula or the cold or what ):
Might have to get him back on kendamil.

Stage 2 seems to be in stock but there's no need to put babies on that ever so it's more of an emergency thing.

have you tried Kendamil organic? Is it same taste i wonder? Will they drink that instead?

Avatar

I have tried it at times as my large supermarket only carries that kind and my boy does drink that, too, but obviously it's more expensive so that's hard as I'm a single mum living alone on UC but I've not eaten so I'm able to feed him plenty of times and sometimes my food bank has it, hard times.

yeah thanks, i tried my best to breastfeed but wasn’t able to. And starting formula unfortunately led to my baby having a lot of issues with colic and digestion initially. We tried many different formulas , different bottles. Only thing that was helping was kendamil for some reason and we have sticked to that since. Ideally yes, i wouldn’t do formula feeding xx

Yeah I couldn't breastfeed either and chose kendamil right away and he's been pretty good on it. It's upsetting but what can you do.

They’re still struggling with the demand. They’re trying to prioritise supermarkets and larger retailers but they can’t get it out fast enough

Boots always seem to have it and in the rare case they don’t they always have the ready made bottles of it I’ve also heard if there’s a Waitrose by you they always stock it as people don’t think to check there. Hope this helps ☺️

It's an absolute joke! We switched to stage 2 at 6 months because couldn't get hold of stage 1 now u can't get hold of 2 🤦🏻‍♀️ literally no where in my town has it it's all unavailable luckily I managed to find it today they had 4 tubs left i grabbed them all & that's the problem now as when they do have it people are bulk buying but because of the shortage you feel like you have too 🤦🏻‍♀️

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

My little one is struggling with sleep

Hey! I'm in need of some advice please girls! My little boy is 20 months turns 21 months in 2 half weeks. He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
