It’s not meant to close again. They have worked extremely hard to get this back open. I’ve birthed there and 100% of changed back.
When are you due? You can check the stats on Connie emidwife to see how many babies are being delivered there if you have time to help make your decision but the first lot of stats won't show until January
@Lauren early January so might not have enough time! Will deffs talk to my midwife. Had my first at Cramlington but was induced and ended up being a forceps delivery in theatre. Was a positive experience overall but hoping to avoid that and go midwife led instead (maybe even with a pool this time who knows!)
You can still change! I changed a few times when I had my little one due to the birthing centre opening and closing, apparently it’s as quick as pressing a button for them so you can chop and change up until the last min x
I was at Cramlington at the end of Sep and I had a positive experience!
I mean the amount of times the birthing centre has re opened then closed again within a week or so id probably stick with cramlington 🤭 x
