Does anyone else have a baby who doesnāt sleep through the night? I feel like weāve been in regression mode for all 6 months of his life š
Iāll get a few decent days with one wake up in the early morning then back to waking up every 3 hours the next day and thatāll go for a week then maybe one good day..
Iām exhausted and tired of hearing about babies sleeping through the night since newborn days lol
Heās also been waking up around 5:50-6:10 ever since daylight savings when he used to wake up at 8 š
What am I doing wrong?

My son doesnāt sleep through the night either and always wakes up between 6:30-7:30 no matter what I do.
Some babies are just this way. You are not failing ā as long as your babyās needs are being met, youāre doing everything youāre supposed to.
As for the tiredness, my mom said something to me and itās been hanging with me since she said it, āyouāre tired because he needs you so much right now⦠but as someone whose baby no longer needs them, I beg you, donāt wish this away.ā š„ŗā¤ļøāš©¹

I was just talking with another mom here about it š

My 6 month old doesnāt sleep through the night, every time people ask about that and I say he doesnāt sleep through the night they look at me in disbelief ( kind judging too), even his doctor always ask me the same thing.
I already did everything that people said to do or try, itās really nothing that we can control, my oldest didnāt sleep through the night until he was at least around 15 months old.
As far as waking up time both of my kids wake up around 7 am since they were born, yes it gets worse with daylight savings lol.
Trust me you are not doing anything wrong, being exhausted is extremely comprehensible, everything gets better with time and you are doing amazing š©·š©·

Itās normal for babies to not sleep through the night- it just SUCKS!
My girl is exclusively breastfed and needs 1-2 feeds a night to keep her weight up and my supply up. And thatās just our reality.
I will say her sleep REALLY improved when we moved her to her own room and she figured out belly sleep.
I hope there is some respite for you. Hang in there š§”

the judgement is REAL. I feel like I need to defend my baby and my mothering. Even though not sleeping through the night at this age is totally normalā¦.

My son does the same thing. He is six months now. He wakes up at least twice through the night. He falls asleep around 9:30 and wakes up Once at about 1 in the morning and a second time around 4. Then he will fall back asleep until about 8-9 am.
It is exhausting. Canāt wait for full nights sleep too. šš»People said itās just through the newborn stage but others tell me there child is one and still doesnāt sleep through the night.
I have noticed taking baths before bed helps him sleep longer. But he stilll wakes up at least once.

he just started sleeping in his own room a week or so ago and naps have improved a lot once he went in there and immediately started sleeping on his belly. (That was a whole new stressor in itself when he started to but naps are better now lol)
Heās also been teething since being in there so I know that isnāt helping the situation ā¹ļø
