I have a toddler that I still breast feed and I’m about 4 days postpartum
Does my toddler steal my newborns colostrum???

If you have a toddler I would think that you’re producing Much more milk then you would be, being a first time mother who has never nursed before and so this is or would be a non issue for me

Baby should nurse first

I tandem nurse my twins from birth until the present one on each boob and they stay on the boob that they started on and generally don’t switch them out our milk is constantly regenerating throughout the day night etc

Until your milk comes in, baby should feed first

Your body will make more. I made tons of colostrum since I was nursing my toddler shortly before baby was born. However definitely feed baby before toddler

this!! when i was breastfeeding colustrum came first and then milk.

@rissa yeah thats why we start with the baby ( new born)
And to make sure he got enough
