Curious about where everyone's LO sleeps for the first part of the evening... Mine falls asleep between 7 and 8 and sleeps on one of us until we go up to bed, then he goes into his next to me after a feed and a change. Plan to keep doing this until we can leave him to sleep in separate room but worried we don't really have a bedtime routine as such. Anyone else do similar?

I do exactly the same 😊 until we can put him down with the monitor I’ll keep doing it this way x

Sleeps on the sofa until I put him to bed in his crib upstairs with monitor on about 9-10 and then I go back up to bed later on

So we started a routine when she was 6 weeks old (bath, meal, song & bedtime) and initially she would nap on us/refuse to be put down in her cot until about 10/11. We persisted with putting her in the cot and soothing her when she would inevitably cry. It worked and now she goes to bed between 7 and 8 in her cot. Slight sleep regression aside (she’s 15 weeks old), I found that doing exactly the same sequence of events before bedtime is the only thing that worked for her. Took about 5 weeks of consistent repetitions but we got there - she started sleeping through the night at 11 weeks.

My girl goes to bed the same time as us
