Does anyone else’s toddler (2.5 year old girl) wake up every night without fail for 2.5-3 hours and just have complete insomnia. My little one tries to get back to sleep but cannot seem to manage it. We have to stay in the room with her otherwise she kicks off 🫠 So this is really draining.
Bedtime routine is bath, books and bed. She has no screen time before bed and stays in her bedroom after her bath. The lights are always very dim and calming, she will sleep for a few hours and then wake up and that’s it 2.5-3 hours.
Literally any advice would be amazing!

Does she still nap? If so, how long for?

What’s her daily schedule? Split nights at this age are often due to being undertired. Average sleep totals for 1-2 year olds are 11-14 hours including nap.

everything is all over the place at the moment. Because of the bad nights she is sleeping in a bit later, and then doesn’t fall asleep to nap in the day and is in bed early. I tried to nap her for fourty minutes today in the pram and car and she just would not go.
I have noticed when she naps the nights aren’t quite so brutal. She wakes more but for shorter amounts of time, but it is so hard to get her to nap everyday 🥲

I don’t know if these even makes sense 😂 as I’m running on very little sleep again. Tonight she fell asleep at 6:30pm as I couldn’t get her to nap today because she woke so late this morning (8:40am). She then woke at 9:15pm for three hours until 12:15 🫠 and woke again at 4:30am and has just gone back to sleep

When did the split nights start lovely? X
