C-section opening up *tw photo*
Any tips on how to help this heal? Seen the GP who tbh didn’t offer much advice and just gave antibiotics. It’s been 3 days on the antibiotics and not looking any better, still weeping fluid. Was wondering if maybe it might be a good idea to flush it with saline pods daily and then dry it? I’ve had many incision and drainage surgeries due to a skin condition where they leave the wound open to heal from inside out which look the same as this and that’s usually how they’re cared for.

Are you able to see the HV or even the community midwife ???
I had this. As well as antibiotics I was given a steroid antibacterial cream to use. I also used sterile saline spray and gauze 3 times a day. I got it from amazon. Also made sure to air dry before getting dressed and wore maternity knickers that went upto my ribs so nothing was rubbing on my incision x
I had this and was advised at hospital just to keep it dry and air it as much as possible. I was given antibiotics which helped too and after a few weeks it got better.
Keep it dry as possible.. I hair dried mine every night xx
