Can someone just explain how they make a bottle if they’re using Kendamil formula & MAM bottles?? I’ve seen lots of things recently about Kendamil being measured in ml & not oz and that ml & oz are different?
We’ve got a prep machine so I suppose I’m fine when I’m at home but I’m just thinking about when we are out and about or at peoples houses what do I do ????
Currently 41+2 and starting to panic, thought I had this nailed but clearly not hence why I’ve done this anonymous🥴

Learn more about our guidelines.so if I’m making a ‘3oz’ bottle, it needs to be 90ml & then I add 3 scoops of the powder?

We use kendamil and we take a flask with hot water in, and bottles with boiled cold water in. We do a hot shot add the formula give it a good shake and then add the cooled water. It makes a bottle super fast!! 28.4ml is an oz. but if I’m honest I always round it up to 30ml as 1.6ml is not going to make a difference🙈

We boil the kettle, leave it for half an hour and then pour it into the bottles to the required amount. Then add 30ml per scoop e.g 90ml would be 3 scoops. Then pop the lid on and give it a good mix up (it does froth quite a lot so just be aware of that as you might want to let it rest/settle after) and then let it cool (or run under a cold tap) to the desired temperature 😊

Not to panic you at all but if you haven’t bought lots of kendamil I would consider a different brand. They are constantly sold out in lots of shops and loads of people seem to be having issues. I was dead set on not swapping my baby as she loves kendamil but this has happened 3 times now so we have just switched to SMA x
perfect thank you, so you’d put the 90ml of water in first and then the 3 scoops - does this make it then go above 90ml or doesn’t that mater - if that makes sense

Yes that's exactly right, so 90ml of water, then add your 3 scoops and give it a shake/mix. Once it's all frothed up it looks like around 120ml so just make sure your bottle is big enough to allow for the extra once it's mixed 😊
