Infant vomiting yellow bile

Has anyone else’s baby experienced this ? She started off on gentleease but it eventually caused the bile so we switched her to similac total 360. We had to switch AGAIN since wic didn’t approve it so now she’s back on the regular enfamil (yellow can) since her dr said that’s the closest to similac. Now She’s gagging, refusing to feed, and vomiting. What should I do ?

Yellow is fine but if it’s green you need to go to the emergency room asap

@Ana okay thats reassuring, do you think it’s the formula switch or a stomach bug

I would still do a doctor call, I think my ped told me to do so if we saw yellow

I would still call the doc to make sure everything is ok

My daughter got a stomach bug one night and when she woke up her sheets were stained like this. I think she passed the bug overnight but just watch your baby, make sure she is hydrated and if not take her in for fluids and just to be sure she’s okay!

@Courtney good thing it passed overnight. Would you recommend pedialyte ? She’s only 2 months and 3 weeks and I haven’t gave her water yet since her dr said it’s best to wait

I didn’t give my baby anything I just kept making sure she finished her bottles. You can check for dehydration by pinching the skin and if it sticks up for a few seconds she is dehydrated. Also their soft spot might be more sunken

You can get a prescription for WIC to cover the Similac. My friend did. Her son could only drink the Similac 360.

Yea I was gonna also say you can get a prescription for the similac. My baby had to get a prescription because he drinks neosure

@Lalita smh they told me wic doesn’t cover similac even with a written note from Dr. I’m in Ny so that could be why.

@Courtney thank youu

@Gaby oh wow yea that has to be the reason because I’m in Cali
