Lemsip while pregnant
Hi guys,
Are you allowed to have Lemsips when pregnant? My throat is killing me and it’s the only thing that usually helps! If not what can I have?

No I don’t think you can theres nothing really you can take when pregnant apart from paracetamol 🤦♀️ warm drinks will be your best friend!! Xx
No you can’t, try just hot lemon and honey to soothe your throat xx
My GP told me that the main thing in lemsip that makes you feel better is paracetamol, which you can take on its own, so I would just take that.
No, I bought some when I had Covid as I was so awful and then realised you can’t 😣😣 I just drank honey and lemon hot water instead xx
yes they are safe, i was told i could have them x
Try warm milk too. Not a lot you can take unfortunately, i suffer with a bad throat over winter but could only have soothers or paracetamol x
they should be avoided in pregnancy as many contain decongestants which are not safe to take in pregnancy x
i was advised they are safe by a doctor. Just goin by what i was told
