Autism vent

Well that’s rude ! But I’m a mother of an autistic child and before my mom knew she use to do the same thing but I remained calm and humble you should just start sending her things about autism and what it is and how they function ! Cause are kiddos are beyond SMART ! They are brilliant!!! So keep up with the amazing work and being a mother and an advocate before anything lol don’t crash out !

if she doesn’t know what it is or how to support your child then the best thing to do is definitely educate her and encourage her to make the right choices for your child

Autistic individual here. I'd point blank ask her if she's insinuating that different neurotypes aren't as smart as neurotypical people but do it through message and include a link explaining that we ARE just as smart as our peers. We just learn completely differently than others do.

Girl autism children are smart in there own way so not all children are same! My two year old has autism and he’s so smart and learning in he’s own pace!
