On the postnatal ward your birth partner should be allowed the whole time but they have to provide their own food lol x
Thank you! I was meant to be delivering at DRI and the doctor said partners get kicked out at about midnight which was a terrifying thought. We live 25 mins from Worksop and my partner doesn’t drive so was just a bit worried what would happen x
Oh he can definitely manage that! I’m delivering Tuesday and he’s got a full snack bag ready to go - priorities 😂😂
We bought a full bag of snacks .... Didn't touch any of them 😂😂 there's a chip shop and a cooplands just over the road from the hospital.... My partner was in the chip shop when they decided to wheel me down for the section earlier than they told him 😂😂 xx
Yeah I was worried but luckily I managed to get in at bassetlaw , I was in for a few days but he was allowed to come and go , I had stocked up on snacks for myself for energy and said I would share but he ate majority of the snacks I got 😂🙈 they do provide warm drinks and biscuits outside of meal times too though 😋 x
You’ve really reassured me ladies thank you! I’ve never even been to Bassetlaw hospital but been scheduled for tuesday 😬😬
Good luck with everything ! Hope it’s a positive experience all round for you I found the staff so lovely and helpful xx
Hope everything is good with you and your little one ☺️ x
I had an emergency c section after induction last February and my partner was there with me from when I went in on the 5th until we went home on the 7th xx
