Have y’all ever encountered rude interactions from strangers?
I got asked by strangers asking me if that if my child is my child.
I never respond to them and I keep moving.
This happened a few times while my daughter and I were taking a bus. luckily Security heard a guy ask me that and intervened making sure my daughter and I are safe.

ever since I was asked that, I carry my pepper spray or any self-defense device every time my daughter and I travel.
It’s always by white men who asked me this. I never respond
One guy got mad that I didn’t respond and a passer by heard this and was very concerned for our safety and made sure to stay close to us until we were safe.
Advise you to carry a self-defense device or mace when your baby is born
YES. I had a woman say loud enough for me to hear that I was just another white woman with a mixed baby and rolled her eyes. My daughter was maybe 2 and we were getting groceries… every time someone innocently mistakes us for not being blood related I still get pissed for a second
