My girl had a horrendous bum at 4weeks old for a couple of months due to having CMPA the only thing that healed it was medi honey (can get on Amazon)

Bepanthen cream is our go to. And also as above. Air that area.

Has anyone baby had the runs with teething ???

Sometimes a looser stool. I think the full on runs may be something else. But the doctors appointment will hopefully help more.

Yes!! We had this it was awful!!!
Aquaphor. You can get it on Amazon prime. It's amazing.
And obvs lots on nappy free time (towels everywhere!) airs them out and means you can clean them up asap.

It’s been since New Year’s Day.
Sorry to describe it but it’s like yellowy small wet sharts maybe 6-7 a day 😔

was yours teething too??

I don't think so. He had it for just under a week, 10+ x a day. Like pure water basically 😭 he smelled poorly bless him.
He developed a temp the following week and a chesty cough BUT a new tooth did appear a week later. So who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

My friends son had it for 2 weeks
Fine in themselves but dirty nappy +++ (even if small sharty quantity).

My girl was yellow wet sharts constantly leaking when I discovered her allergies, you haven't tried a new allergen lately have you?

I log all her food on huckleberry.
Last few days I’ve only given bread / egg. I really don’t know?
Last night - no spiked nappy but then a real wet yellow one at 7 🤷🏾‍♀️

I’ve just remembered what I had on NYE & I gave the baby a mouthful - could be that?? If it is Do you know how long it takes to pass ?? 🤍

Was it an allergen? I would say it could be if it's been since NYD too? It will just take time for their gut to heal so the poos should sort themselves out first then the bum will heal but you'll struggle to heal the bum if the poos continue the same. If the poos are still like it in a few more days I would guess it would be something else and not the thing you gave on NYE, I'm no expert tho can only talk from experience of my LO

When I cut Soya out of my diet (breastfeeding and my girls allergic) it took 2 weeks for her poos to fully get better however she was obvs alot younger then

Yes! Teething poos are defo a thing! I had the same with my first and now with my second he’s going 6-7 times a day sometimes huge blowouts (smelt a bit fishy too 🤢) and watery. Went on for days. Then the minute his top tooth cut through it all went back to normal. I thought I was going mad because everywhere I was looking online said that the runs isn’t connected to teething but it absolutely is!
