I'm a stomach sleeper and they told me that if I'm not in Payne, it does not matter how I sleep!
I slept on my side immediately post op and then started sleeping on my belly about 3 weeks post op. Try propping a thin pillow under your belly when you're on your side for some extra support!
@MK I remember putting a pillow under my hips too now that I think of it!!! You could probably also use your pregnancy pillow again for a few weeks if he wanted to for extra comfort!
First time I waited ages because I was scared and never slept properly. Second time round I just went for it straight away and supported my tummy with a pillow
It took a good month or 2 after my section for lying on my side not to be uncomfortable x
Nope, whenever is comfortable. I was side sleeping again after a few days.
I was trying in the hospital butvi was too sore. I couldn't until like a week after and slowly but surely I got there with the help of pillows between my legs but I've always done that.
Thanks all 🩷 Anyone know if I can cuddle a hot water bottle, or will it make the wound too hot?
Immediately I started sleeping on my side with the brace thing on.
I did it right away, after having little one. It was the only comfortable way to sleep, I just carried on using my pregnancy pillow to relieve any issues with my belly x
I was on my back propped up for about a week and a half I was in so much pain but when I eventually got back on my side with the help of mu pregnancy pillow it was one of the BEST feelings in the world😭 I’ll never forget it x
I did it straight away, even in hospital as stayed over night. wedged pillows everywhere to make it comfortable was sooo good to be on my side without a large bump.
