I went back to work full time last week and little one had started nursery 2 days a week. It’s a crazy old time adjusting but I think in the long run it will be ok. My little one has settled into nursery so we’ll and absolutely loves it. I know she will learn so much by being there! Work / balance is tough though.
You just have to do what you have to do 🤍

I’m going back in March, LG will be in nursery two days a week and then my mum and mother in law have her the other two days, I’m fortunate enough to only work 4 days a week. I’m dreading it but also will be nice to get back to feeling like me again

I’m back in May and will be dropping to 4 days a week, dreading it but needs must. LB will be in nursery 2 days and a day with each set of grandparents

lucky you to be able to do that 😁 although probably not the kindest comment to make on a post about nurseries where a woman might not have a choice.

I hope work is going well for you and it’s amazing to hear your little one has settled into nursery, I can imagine it must of been hard sending them off to nursery at the start. Yeah I can imagine how tough it is, you’re doing amazing though! ❤️

2 days a week is great and also having that support from your mum/mother in law is fantastic, just what you need. Hopefully things will go well for you when you go back to work, may be tough to start off with but like you said it will be nice to feel like you again 🥰 good luck x

You’ve got this Amy💪🏼 we have to do this for our little ones don’t we. Glad your little one will be going into nursery and also having that support from grandparents x

It’s great you’ll be able to have some quality time with your little one. Yeah I totally understand, I’ve worked in nurseries too and have seen what it’s like. Luckily not all nurseries are like that. If I could, I’d love to stay at home with my little one, but I’ll need to work and provide for my family ☺️ x

I'm not going back to work till Sep, taking the full year plus 4 weeks annual leave. When I do go back she'll go to my parents 1 day a week and two days at nursery. She's going to the nursery both my nieces went to (1 is still there) and they love it. We didn't send our son until he was 3, last April, and it's only now, that he doesn't cry at every drop off. I'm hoping she will get used to it much quicker

That sounds great Lisa, hope it all works out well for you☺️ and I do hope your little one settles in well with the drop offs, I know how hard it can be. You might actually find it easier this time with drop offs as you’ve experienced it before, you just got to do what works for you and your little one x
