Winchester Hospital and c-sections

This will be my second baby (currently 28weeks pregnant). First was born at Princess Anne Hospital via emergency c-section. I will be opting for an elective c-section this time round. I’m due 13th April, when am I likely to get given a date for the elective c-section. I’m finding it difficult to plan in my remaining annual leave prior to starting maternity leave as late as possible. Thanks ☺️

Hiya I had a planned c section at Winchester and got my date booked in pretty early. I can't remember exactly when, but maybe 4 months before it?

oh that’s pretty early. Was that booked through your consultant. As I don’t have an appointment with him until im 32weeks and midwife hasn’t mentioned anything at my 28week appointment x

Ah OK. Yes I think it was through the consultant from memory. I saw one throughout cause I'm older, so that's probably why x

My first planned section I think I got the date around 35/36 weeks, my second planned section I got my date at 23 weeks however this was due to consultant not needing to see me again! First one was 2021 and second was December just gone. Both in Winchester :) x

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
