Visiting hours/giving birth at Heartlands

Hi so I had my 2nd child there in November. I had a scheduled c section and the staff at the time were so lovely. Really supportive and put me at ease. Post birth I was lucky enough to get a separate room without asking for one. So I had all the privacy I needed compared to being with several other ladies in one small space (that was my experience with 1st child). Most of the staff were nice and did come whenever I buzzed. There were the odd few who had attitude on them though! Partner couldn’t stay over night however I do remember being told that they were going to implement something where they can stay the night, not sure if they’ve started that yet. Partner could come early morning, four visitors were allowed two at a time. Cannot remember the timings though I know one was evening. But you had to give them the names of who was visiting on the day so downstairs security would know. Your own children are allowed to accompany the visitors too. Good luck!!

Just had my baby today at heartland I had a c section everything went amazing in regards to vistors you can have someone with u 24 hours but only swap once a day and 2 extra people between 2-4pm and 6-8pm

I had all 3 kids there. Only allowed one person during birth (I had c sections) and 2 ppl can visit at a time. Visiting hours are from 11am till 8pm. They do ask you who's coming that day. The staff is good but odd nurse here and there who has a bit of an attitude or Karen vibe. Just depends who's on shift.
