My baby is 5 months old and we were also advised to start solids but do dairy free weaning until baby is 1yrs old. We have started with carrot which he will have for 5 days and then we will move onto the next veg and eventually add fruit.
He also wanted us to try eggs and nut butters before baby turns 6 months to ensure that baby is not allergic to those.
I was advised that baby needs to be dairy free for at least 6 months before starting to introduce it and the way you’d introduce it is via a milk ladder

Definitely don't introduce until baby is at least 6 months dairy free and between 9 and 12 months better 12months though and not poorly or teething (I wish you luck working around that🤣)
Other common allergies do introduce slowly though incase of a delayed or build up reaction

so weird her pediatrician told us we could use non hypoallergenic formula and I’m breast feeding so she’s told me I can start to eat what I want now and see if that makes a difference in baby

how old is your baby and how long has she been dairy free? Was CMPA confirmed for her or are they doing a challenge to see if she is actually CMPA?
