Changing nappy at night

Is everyone changing their babies nappies every time before feeding at night? Even if a wee? I was told i can leave the wee not to wake them up but just feels wrong.

I do every time to prevent nappy rash and also means she’s awake and ready for the feed and then can settle back into sleep with a full belly

My little girl is 4 weeks and i was changing her every time she woke before her bottle until last week where i would do it maybe every other wake up and now i do it every 4 hours unless shes done a poo but i also put sudocrem on to prevent any nappy rash. She usually sleeps the first stretch of night for 3 hours and then every 2 hours

I’m trying to do a change before every feed at night. Just has he’s starting to wake, I whip it off and it compliments him asking up. Sometimes have to change again after a feed as he seems to poop during feeding a lot 😂🤪

Yes, changing as they wake up before a feed so he is more awake for a feed. He usually has done a poo though. Also even with wees, his nappy is full very quickly. I only used to not change after wees in the night, quite a few months in x

I change nappy every feed otherwise I find the nappy is huge on the next feed otherwise and sometimes he’s uncomfortable and more whiny with a huge nappy. He’s also wet through his clothes before because it was so big!

Yes. Nappy rash is awful…
