Ideas on a replacement for a cat bed?
So this isn’t baby related but also kinda is. So we got this changing table for when our son is born. Since we are moving to a new place a lot of our baby stuff just sits in the living room since we have no room for things. I had put some blankets on the changing table so the cats would stop scratching the pad itself. Since baby will be using this eventually I’m trying to think of a replacement item for the cats since they love to sleep on the changing table. I have a cat tree which they do like to use but they just really enjoy the bed like nature of the changing table. Anyone have any ideas? Also please no judgement we will be deep cleaning everything before baby is here but with our living room being a storage area for now it’s kinda difficult to stop the cats from getting on things. Once baby is born they won’t be in our room or allowed in his nursery.

I have a dog bed that we pop onto whatever surface suits them at the time, and they LOVE it. Got a big one for the two boys who cuddle, and a small one for the girl who prefers her own space.
Edit: your cat is GORGEOUS and it should be mentioned that we don't have dogs, and our first baby is still on the way.
A box with the same blankets. Seriously, cats just want whatever "new" comfy thing shows up 😂 I was worried about the cats being all over baby stuff when we had our first, with 5 cats at the time. Even bought this netting thing to put over the crib and pack n play when empty, but ended up not using them. The cats mostly avoided the baby, and things with baby's scent that they recognized as her spaces. Never had issues with cat hair all over sleeping or changing spaces.
