How to get the birth certificate in Texas
So I had my little guy on Oct 29th and I'm wondering how I get his birth certificate since I didn't get one from the hospital, what do I need to do to get it ?

Health department
You have to go to your local health department/vital records and pick it up yourself. It’ll be about $25. They don’t tell you this I waited about 6 weeks thinking it would be mailed 🤦🏾♀️😂

You have to go to the county he was born in. For example Denton county clerk office. Call ahead and make sure that’s the address u go to, sometimes they have different offices. Most of the time u need an ID, cash/card.
Is ny the only state that mails it?
