Ultrasound on hips

Anyones newborns had an ultrasound on their hips? My baby has clicky hips when born my midwife wasn’t concerned and said it was probably just from my hormones but had to refer us for an ultrasound anyway. Just wondering what to expect as its on Tuesday. TIA

Mine did at 5 weeks old because of family history of bad hips. It was super quick. They wedge baby into a nest type thing side ways and scan then flip to do other side and done. My baby slept right through x

Yeah my little boy had this at around 6 weeks old, he was totally unbothered by it. I laid him down, took his clothes off his bottom half and undid his nappy either side. She then turned him onto his side and propped a wedge under him and scanned and then did the same the other side x

My daughter had one (apparently all girls over a certain weight at birth has to have one). It was fine and only took a couple of minutes. The doctor just lay my baby on a table on a wedge type thing, not tied down or anything. then just basically turn the lights off (they had a little light show going to distract her which I thought was cute) then take a photo and that's it. Definitely nothing to worry about x

As above we had one at 5 weeks because I have hip problems myself, no wedge for ours just laid him on the bed we have our ultrasounds on- undid one side of the nappy at a time- he slept through the whole thing completely unaware of what was happening 😂

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Braxton hicks

I’m currently 34 weeks and have been experiencing braxton hicks for the past few weeks however have been having cramps almost like very strong period cramps In my lower stomach. I’ve mentioned this to my midwife and she only really asked if I’d been keeping hydrated and taking my vitamins which I am but didn’t really proceed to tell me if this was normal or related to braxton hicks also, has anyone else experienced this?

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?
