Is elevation church legit?
Music is pumping and I love it all but I can't help but question this. Don't mean to offend but I've had things put in my head about churches and mega churches
Please enlighten me
Even my toddler loves to have breakfast while we watch it live every Sunday
Just want him to know God too y'know

There’s definitely pros and cons to churches like that.
Pros: usually more inclusive and less likely to encounter some of the judgement you’d get at a smaller church, likely to have free breakfast, good music, get your kids to enjoy going to church for the vibes which fosters a positive attitude towards it
Cons: sometimes the message gets lost in theatrics, can feel like your offerings aren’t needed and aren’t being put towards good use, bigger community can feel less homey and harder time making friends
For me personally all Christian churches I’ve attended both small and large spend an embarrassingly minuscule portion of time actually going over the Bible, just a pastor who chose a few excerpts and spends the rest of the time talking and relating life to the passages instead of breaking down the context and biblical history etc. then the rest music and church news
